"If My House was Burning Down" Blog

I would have grab Pulp Fiction because first of all it’s my favorite film. I consider it to be the best film ever made and I absolutely adore its writing, violence, and sectional, yet interceding stories (which is the film itself). I would have grabbed The Dark Knight because it is my second favorite movie and I also consider it to be one of the best movies ever made. The relationship between The Joker and Batman has such a social undertone of America vs. The War on Terrorism today it’s uncanny. Plus Heath Ledger gave the best performance I’ve ever seen period in that movie. I’d grab Collateral because it’s pure awesome. Tom Cruise blows me away every time as the sociopathic assassin who throughout the story becomes likeable to the audience and is a force to be reckoned with (especially if you take his briefcase.)
After those movies, I’d grab The Big Lebowski for it’s my favorite Coen Brother’s film and Jeff Bridges iconic portrayal of The Dude is still today perhaps one of the most deserving Oscar nominated performances of time (which he didn’t get any recognition whatsoever). Lastly, I’d grab The Profesional because that film also contains one of my favorite performances ever, Gary Oldman as the drug addicted DEA Agent Norman Stansfield, a character who is so vile that you can’t help but love him.
