1.) Who is the best Sci-Fi character ever created, and why? The best Sci-Fi character created in my opinion is The Terminator (Terminator 2). I believe this because the character has a complete lack of emotional connection to any of all the main characters but still acts heroically and tricks the audience into that he does have some form of emotional characteristics to him. The films ending heavily shoes this in that when The Terminator self destructs in the molten pit, he gives a thumbs up, to give John Connor a sense of ease.
2.) Who is the best Sci-Fi villain? The best Sci-Fi villain in my opinion is the Alien (or Alien Species) from the Alien films. It is not so much a villain, but more of a terrifying creature, one that struck fear into the minds of audiences’ worldwide upon the release of Alien. From its skull-piercing tongue to its acid blood, this “Alien” is immaculate in design. Furthermore, the whole process in which the creature comes to life involving the face-huggers and “chest-bursting” is truly unnerving and disgusting.
